The apartheid is the result of what was, in the twentieth century, a phenomenon of racial segregation in South Africa introduced by English settlers as a symbol of a succession of discrimination in political, economic, social and racial. It was so named because it means "separateness" in Afrikaans a Germanic language, Dutch Creole, spoken mainly in South Africa and Namibia. This system basically consisted of division different racial groups to promote "development." All this movement was led by the white race, which brought all kinds of laws covering, in general, social aspects. Racial classification was made according to appearance, social acceptance or descent. This new system speeds and resistances produced by the country's black citizens.
